Starting a company? Great. But first — paperwork. Yeah, not fun, but it’s part of the process. Let’s keep it simple.
1. Passport Copy
You’ll need a clear photo or scan of your passport. Full page, nothing cut off. Make sure it’s not expired.
2. Proof of Address
This can be a utility bill, bank statement, or rental agreement. Your name and address should be on it. Not older than 2–3 months.
3. Business Name & What You’ll Do
Pick your company name. Also tell them what your business will do — like selling on Amazon, offering services, etc.
Some places give you a list to choose from. Just pick the closest option.
4. Owner Details
If it’s just you, then your details only. If you have partners, you’ll need their info too. Like passport copies and addresses. Also who owns how much.
5. Photos
Some countries ask for a passport-size photo. White background, simple.
6. Forms or Signatures
They might send you a form to fill or sign. It’s usually basic stuff — your name, address, business type, etc.
Sometimes They Also Ask For:
- A short business plan
- Your CV or resume
- A letter from your bank
Not always, but be ready just in case.
